I was born in Wisconsin and raised in Arkansas, but moved to Sahuarita, AZ in 2013. I have my Bachelors in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Life/Earth Science. I graduated from Concordia University in Austin, Texas in 2007! This is my 12th year of teaching and I couldn't be more excited. Both of my parents were teachers (they have since retired) and I firmly believe I have been given the opportunity to have two amazing role models and learn from them doing what I love!

I have an 8 year old son, who is in third grade :), and I have 3 brothers. I love to cook, read books, and make puzzles when I get any extra time!
